Work continues to connect Edomex and CDMX with AIFA

A few days before the operations of the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) begin, the head of the Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, indicated that they continue to work with the government of the State of Mexico to be able to finalize the process of improving connectivity to this new airport point.

In a conference, the president indicated that they hold meetings between the subnational governments and with the federal authority to review the progress of the works (such as the six roads) and thus be able to meet the new demand that there will be.

“All the roads that go from the Mexico City International Airport to the Felipe Ángeles International Airport have been paved, marked out, made murals, cleaned, so that there are no problems (…) It means Insurgentes, the exit to the Pachuca Highway (…) There is sufficient mobility so that there are no problems”, he stressed.

Sheinbaum Pardo said that they are also supporting the government of the State of Mexico, since the entity is developing works to achieve greater connectivity with the AIFA.

For example, with the Tlalnepantla Mexicable, which seeks to connect directly with the new airport. “El Mexicable is a work of the Government of the State of Mexico, we are supporting them in communication with the residents of the Gustavo A. Madero mayor’s office, because they have had some problems, particularly for the final station and there we are supporting them, it is a good project”

They are also helping the Mexican authorities to get the Mexibús to reach La Raza, and thus generate another point directly to the AIFA.

“At the same time, the Mexibús that they have, that arrives at Indios Verdes and that we are supporting so that it turns around, precisely in La Raza, in addition to a series of actions that we have been doing,” stressed the head of the City Government. from Mexico.
