Winnipeg man claiming to have witnessed massive street fight accused – Winnipeg | The Canadian News

Brandon police say a Winnipeg man faces charges after calling 911 several times early Monday to report “approximately 50 people fistfighting” along the Trans-Canada Highway.

When officers caught up with the 31-year-old man on the outskirts of town, they said he was driving east on westbound lanes of the highway and was believed to be drug-ridden.

They also allege that he became combative while being arrested and tried to flee the scene.
