Winnipeg Jets star Mark Scheifele to play in 2022 Manitoba Open after two-year hiatus – Winnipeg | The Canadian News

Winnipeg Jets star Mark Scheifele received a sponsor exemption for the Manitoba Open golf tournament this coming August.

It will be Scheifele’s second time playing in the Mackenzie Tour event, having played in 2018. Her Jets teammate Kyle Connor played at the Manitoba Open in 2019.

COVID-19 restrictions led to the tournament being canceled in 2020 and 2021. The Manitoba Open will be hosted by Southwood Golf and Country Club beginning August 15.
