Winnipeg Bear Clan Search for Missing 22-Year-Old – Winnipeg | The Canadian News

The Winnipeg Bear Clan took to the streets Saturday in search of a missing 22-year-old who has not been seen in weeks.

Hailey Bittern was last seen Nov. 17 in the St. Vital area, according to police.

However, searchers say nothing has been heard from her in about three weeks.

Angela Klassen Janeczko of the Bear Clan said they received information that Bittern could be in the far north of the city, which is where they spent the day putting up missing persons posters and talking to community members.

“If we get any leads during this time, we will follow any of them,” Janeczko said.

Janeczko said they hope to get her home safely as soon as possible.

“She has been through quite a bit of trauma in her life,” he said. “Hailey is young, vulnerable and impressionable.”

Bittern’s aunt, Olive Bouchie, was unable to go searching for Brandon, but spoke to reporters by phone.

“Hailey, if you can hear me, we all love you. Please contact me, ”Bouchie said.

The Bittern is described as being five feet eight inches tall and 155 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen in gray sweatpants, a tan jacket, and tan Ugg boots.

Anyone with information should contact the Winnipeg police or Clan Bear.
