Tecumseh Road West is open at Huron Church Road, Windsor police announced Sunday afternoon.

A week after police cleared anti-mandate protests at the Ambassador Bridge, Tecumseh Road West is now open for eastbound and westbound traffic across Huron Church Road, and drivers can use the intersection for southbound traffic on Huron Church Road.

“My thanks to all residents for their support of the Windsor police as they work to balance everyone’s needs during this trying time,” said Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens in a Sunday tweet announcing the reopening.

Northbound Huron Church Road remains open for bridge traffic only, police said, and the Prince Road, College Avenue and Malden Road intersections at Huron Church Road remain closed.
