After a few days off for both teams, they and the Brooklyn Nets will meet at 7:30 pm ET on April 23 at Barclays Center. Boston will strut after a win, while Brooklyn will stumble after a loss.
The Nets are willing to offset the competition from these teams on Wednesday. The Celtics beat Brooklyn with a score of 114-107. Boston can attribute much of its success to power forward Grant Williams, who had 17 points and six rebounds. Williams had some trouble finding the balance of him against Brooklyn at the teams’ previous meeting earlier this month, so this was a step in the right direction.
Boston is expected to win this handily, but they also should have easily beaten the Detroit Pistons on Feb. 16 and instead blundered 112-111. In other words, don’t write Brooklyn off just yet.
