VivaAerobús will resume flights from Toluca and will have new routes

Long live Aerobus announced this Monday the reactivation of its flights to cancun Y Monterey from the Toluca International Airport (AIT), which stopped operating between April and May 2021, and the opening of two routes: to Mérida and Puerto Vallarta.

“On July 28, Viva Aerobús will restore its route to Cancun with three flights a day and, after the summer season, starting on September 9, it will operate two daily flights. On that same date, Viva will also resume its flights to Monterrey with two flights a day and, starting in September, it will increase to three daily frequencies,” the airline reported.

In a statement, the company specified that the new routes will begin to operate from September 9 with a daily flight.

With this announcement, which is added to the five routes announced last Wednesday from the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), the ultra-low-cost airline makes a first contribution to the development of the Metropolitan Airport System (SAM) with which it is intended to reduce the saturation of the Mexico City International Airport (AICM).

“We continue to grow our offer in the Valley of Mexico with a proposal at low prices, direct flights and new planes so that more people have the opportunity to fly from different points with full comfort, reliability and taking care of their economy. With these four routes, we connect the State of Mexico with tourist and business enclaves in the country, thus favoring the development, accessibility and competitiveness of all these destinations”, said the director of Long live AerobusJuan Carlos Zuazúa.

For his part, the director of the AIT, Hugo Alberto Delgado Ortega, recognized that the resumption of operations of Long live Aerobus and the launch of new routes are “excellent news for all passengers in the Toluca Valley, whom we will receive and serve with customer-focused service, the highest safety standards, and world-class infrastructure.”
