Victim Rushed to Hospital with Serious Injuries Following Shooting in Scarborough – Toronto | The Canadian News

A male victim was rushed to hospital after a shooting in Scarborough on Wednesday, authorities said.

Toronto police said emergency crews were called to the Markham and Ellesmere highways area to receive reports that someone had been shot.

Responding officers located a victim who suffered a gunshot wound.

Paramedics rushed him to the hospital through an emergency run.

Toronto paramedics told Global News that a young male victim was taken to a trauma center in serious condition.

There is no word on any suspects in connection with the shooting.

Police are now investigating.
