Zach Verhoven led Atletico Ottawa to a Canadian Premier League victory Sunday afternoon, kicking back at his former Pacific franchise.

Verhoven, who entered the game as a substitute in the 63dr minute, scored the winner in the 86th minute as Atletico pulled out a 2-1 victory over league-leading Pacific.
He’s on a roll. Verhoven also scored the winner earlier in the week as Atletico defeated Cavalry 2-1. Malcolm Shaw also scored for Atletico.

With the victory, Atletico improves its season record to five wins, two draws and two ties. Pacific, which has played one more game, leads the CPL standings with a record of five wins, three draws and two losses.
Following their busy week, Atletico will have some down time before playing York United on June 14.
