Verdicts expected today for 13 inmates charged with brutal attack inside NS Jail – Halifax | The Canadian News

Verdicts are expected today for 13 inmates accused of carrying out a brutal 2019 jail robbery at the Nova Scotia Supreme Court.

A total of 15 inmates have been charged with attempted murder and other crimes related to an attack on Stephen Anderson at the Nova Scotia Correctional Center on December 2, 2019.

The trial of 13 inmates was divided into separate trials before Judge Jamie Campbell, to allow enough space for attorneys, sheriffs, and defendants to attend and carry out pandemic health orders.
