Vancouver Weather – Rain Warning in Effect

VANCOUVER, BC: Saturday, November 13. Today’s weather is expected to be cloudy, with rains beginning in the late afternoon and peaking at 11 C, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. During the night, it seems rainy with a low of 6 C and then a heavier rain is expected on Sunday. The federal weather agency has issued a rain advisory for the region, with up to 100 millimeters expected and 150 millimeters for Howe Sound and eastern Fraser Valley. Warm temperatures are likely to accompany the rain, and the agency warns that rising frost levels with melting snow could lead to flooding.

The agency says rain will be strongest on Sunday afternoon and Sunday night and then subside on Monday when a cold front pushes rainfall out of the region.

Rain continues on Monday, with a high of 9 C followed by sunshine on Tuesday, with a high of 7 C and a low of zero.
