Shortly before 7:30 p.m., a man with a sharp object woke up on the set of the ABC show A Million Little Things, which was filming near Main and Alexander streets.

VPD spokeswoman Const. Tania Visintin said officers working on the set were alerted by the film crew that there was a man with a knife.

Officers found the man in a nearby lane waving a sharp stick in the air. Witnesses said police drew weapons and ordered the man to lie down.

Visintin said that because the man was acting “aggressively” towards people with the stick, he was arrested and taken to jail for a couple of hours as a breach of public order. He was later released.

Nobody was hurt in the incident.
