After beating all competitors in Monday’s municipal election, Sohi is now preparing to lead the most diverse council in Edmonton history, with eight women and four people of color at the table of 13.
Sohi visited City Hall on Tuesday to meet with outgoing Mayor Don Iveson, who congratulated him on a decisive victory and thanked Edmontons for “rejecting the politics of fear and anger.”
In an exclusive personal interview, Mayor-elect Sohi sits down (virtually) with Under The Dome host Dave Breakenridge to discuss the campaign that led to his election, his priorities on the city council, and how he plans to engage the province and Prime Minister Jason Kenney on provincial issues affecting the people of Edmonton.
