Ukraine: $35,000 raised by the Bloc Québécois with the Red Cross


More than $35,000 was raised by the Red Cross and the Bloc Québécois in a campaign to support the Ukrainian people who have been victims of Putin’s invasion for more than three months.

“To date, more than $35,000 has been raised by the Bloc Québécois solidarity campaign for Ukraine, and the Canadian government has undertaken to double the amount raised,” said the Bloc. Quebecers via press release on Sunday.

“For more than 70 days now, this unspeakable war has been waged by dictator Putin on Ukrainian territory, subjecting its population to the worst horrors, underlined the leader of the Bloc Québécois, Yves-François Blanchet. In this crisis, Ukrainians can count on the unconditional support of Quebec and Quebeckers in the fight to protect their freedom. We are at their side and we are continuing our efforts so that they can receive the necessary help”.
