A Windsor man faces multiple criminal charges after hitting two police officers with a vehicle while trying to evade arrest on Saturday.

Shortly after midnight, members of the Kingsville OPP detachment were called to County Road 23 for a report of an erratic driver.
Officers located a stopped vehicle on the side of the road. When the police approached, the vehicle took off and hit two of them.
The vehicle sped and ended up in a ditch, police said. The driver was treated for minor injuries.
The officers who were beaten were not injured.
Justin Loma, 34, of Windsor, is charged with flight by a law enforcement officer, resisting a law enforcement officer, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

The defendant was also wanted on the order of another police service and was detained pending a bail hearing in Windsor.
