Two men were shot and wounded early Sunday in an industrial area of Montreal’s St-Laurent borough.

Around 4:10 am, police were called to Hickmore St., near Merizzi St., where they found the first victim.
The man in his twenties had suffered an upper body injury. He was conscious and transported to a hospital..
The second victim, also a man in his twenties, went to the hospital on his own. His life of him is not believed to be in danger.
Police spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils said preliminary information indicated that a gathering had happened in the industrial sector and a conflicted degenerated outside. That’s when the two victims were injured.
The suspect—or suspects—fled before officers arrived.
A security perimeter was erected so investigators could analyze the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
