Two people have been affected in the Port of Gandía by a ammonia leak from an ice factory. The president of the local fishermen’s association has confirmed the leakage of the gas, used to produce ice industrially in one of the ships in the port.

As confirmed by health sources, one of the injured workers has left the affected area on foot. The second had to be evacuated by inhaling gas. At the moment, firefighters are surveying the area and recording ammonia levels in the air.
