True North Reveals Plan for Fans as Capacity Cuts in Half at Canada Life Center – Winnipeg | The Canadian News

With capacity at Canada Life Center now cut in half, True North has revealed its plan for fans to attend upcoming Winnipeg Jets games.

The team’s next four home games have been divided into two packages with two games each and season ticket holders will be able to choose between one of them.

For those who purchased individual tickets, a refund will be given, but once season ticket holders make their decisions, there may be some additional tickets available.

True North says just over 7,500 fans will be allowed in the building under the new health orders.

True North SVP of Sales Norva Riddell says those with tickets received emails.

The story continues below the ad.

“We basically had to rebuild from scratch, so it’s important for everyone to read the emails that were sent to them because they have been customized very specifically for their circumstances,” Riddell said.

The Jets’ next four home games are December 27 against Minnesota, December 29 against Chicago, January 8 against Seattle and January 10 against Minnesota.

The province’s latest public health orders, which require 50 percent capacity at indoor public events, expire Jan. 11.

“We have tried to keep the process as simple as possible,” Riddell said. “We will probably disappoint a fan, but hopefully there will be enough inventory to meet the requirement.”
