Treasury and CNBV push an agenda of economic and social sustainability

The Ministry of Finance and the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) They work on a joint agenda for the generation of public policies in favor of economic, social and environmental sustainability.

This Thursday, the Undersecretary of Finance, Gabriel Yorio, and the president of the CNBV, Jesus of the Fountain, met to define these issues that are part of this sustainability strategy, and where they particularly analyzed the issuance of sovereign bonds linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

“They followed up on the agenda related to the development and deepening of the stock market, which is essential for companies and government entities to access sources of financing at competitive prices,” explained the CNBV.

Both officials reiterated their commitment to work together to land government actions and programs in favor of citizens.
