Three men stabbed in downtown Montreal

One victim is in critical condition, Montreal police say, after an altercation sparked.

Three men were injured in downtown Montreal early Sunday morning after what police described as an altercation that degenerated.

The incident took place at the corner of boulevards Robert Bourassa and de Maisonneuve around 2:15 a.m.

The three men, ages 25, 27 and 29, were stabbed. The two youngest victims are now out of harm’s way, said police spokesman Jean-Pierre Brabant. The oldest is in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.
