Instinctively, I tend to mistrust what is presented as social unanimity.Discourses that begin with “the people,” “the street,” “society,” “the men,” “the women,” “the nation,” “the workers,” or “the entrepreneurs,” and continue with a verb that refers to actions that purely can only be carried out by people (they think, feel, believe, think, act …) have caused errors and tragedies over the centuries. Being a dissident has always been a bad drink.
