They give six years in prison for pedophilia to a teacher in CDMX

The Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), through the Office of the Special Prosecutor for Crimes of Violence against Women and Trafficking in Persons (Fevimtra), obtained a conviction of six years in prison against José Manuel Mejía Villavicencio, for the crime of aggravated pedophilia.

The sentenced person was a Physical Education teacher at John F. Kennedy High School No. 67, located in the city hall. Azcapotzalco from Mexico City.

A federal judge issued the binding of the public servant to the process on July 16. Later, at the hearing, the agent of the Federal Public Ministry requested the opening of the abbreviated procedure for having sufficient evidence to prove the full responsibility of the accused.

The Control Judge attached to the Federal Justice Center in CDMX, based in the South Prison, after having analyzed the evidence and in the absence of opposition from the victim and his legal advisor, or from the defendant himself who accepted to have committed the crime, handed down a conviction of six years in prison, the payment of the reparation of the damage and the suspension of his position for the same time that the prison sentence lasts.
