In 2021, there were 401 cases of police officers killed in the national territory; in 2020, 524, and 446 in 2019.
Last year the states with the most police officers killed were Guanajuato (54), State of Mexico (47), Zacatecas (36), Veracruz (30) and Chihuahua (27).
