The young man who denounced ‘the herd of Sabadell’ for a multiple rape when he was 18 years old, he has detailed to the judges what happened on the morning of February 3, 2019, and has explained: “I begged them not to do anything. I feared for my life. If they had been able to do all that, I didn’t know if they were going to kill me”.
The complainant has declared before section 6 of the Barcelona Court in the first session of the trial this Tuesday morning, and the interrogation of the four accused of alleged sexual assault is scheduled for Wednesday.
has told that that night he was in a bar with friends and that at the next table there was a group of men who told them “sexist comments” as they passed like ‘beautiful, what an ass'”, and explained that they were ignored because it is an annoying but usual situation and to which they usually give that answer.
He left the bar shortly after 6 o’clock, and explained shortly after starting the road one of the men at that table sexually assaulted her: “He lunged at me from behind and put me against the corner”and then took her to an abandoned ship, where the rest of the suspects were.
During the interrogation of the prosecutor, who asked her if she asked for help while they raped her in the abandoned building, she explained: “I said let me go, I didn’t want anything”and when the prosecutor asked him if he tried to flee, he said that he could not, due to the force of the man who was in the same room and because there were six others in the next room who did not prevent the attack.
In addition to the four defendants in this trial, there are two other suspects in the case: one could not be identified and the other fled during the investigation phase after the young woman recognized him, and the judge maintains an international order to arrest him.
In her statement, the young woman explained that, upon arriving at the ship, the man who had approached her on the street he threw her against a sofa and raped her: “When he finishes, he gets up, leaves the room and I stay still on the sofa, scared and without reaction time, and another individual entered the room”.
The sequence was repeated with a third man, and when escaping from the building he asked for help from a couple who were leaving their garage by car, who accompanied him to the local police station and then to the hospital.

That couple has testified in the trial and they have explained that the young woman taught one of the suspects on the streetand the defense of the accused have questioned whether they saw him well — pointing out that it was around 7 in the morning in February, and it was still dawn — to cast doubt on the identification of the defendants, as they have also done with the wheels reconnaissance that were made in the training phase.

Among the witnesses proposed by the defenses, the girlfriend of one of the accused has declared, who has assured that she spent the whole night with the young man that day and therefore was not involved in the aggression.
For these factsthe Prosecutor’s Office demands sentences of between 37 and 41 years in prison for the four men prosecuted: one is considered the author and the other three necessary cooperators.
