The topics that most interested Mexicans in 2021

Google Chrome is the web browser developed by Google that is used by hundreds of millions of people around the world. Until last October, it was used by 68% of PCs, 44% of tablets and 64% of smartphones. If all platforms are taken into account, it is used in 65% of them.

Through Chrome or other browsers, people make millions of queries every day and 92% of them are made through the Google search engine.

Google does not broadcast the number of queries or searches, but experts at www.hubspot.com estimate that Google processes approximately 63,000 queries per second, which translates to 5.6 billion searches daily and approximately 2 trillion annually. On average, a person performs three to four searches per day.

What Google does disseminate is a list of the main queries that were made in each country in a year, which allows us to know which were the topics that most caught people’s attention.
