Secretary General and Spokesperson for the Spanish Episcopal Conference (CEE), Luis Argüello, has welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court to revoke the constitutional right to abortion, which he considers “an encouragement to continue fighting”.

The ruling of the US Supreme Court revokes the Roe vs. Wade ruling that protected the right to abortion throughout the country and now leaves in the hands of each state the power to prohibit this right, something that several governors have already announced they will do.
The Vatican calls for “reflection”
The president of the Pontifical Academy for Life, Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, has assured that the decision of the Supreme Court of the United States is “a powerful invitation to reflect together”.
