Windsor police said they were alerted around 10:40 a.m. that someone was seen with a weapon in the area of ​​Pelissier Street and Elliott Street.

Responding officers learned that the adult male suspect had been seen pointing the gun at another person in the 900 block of Ouellette Avenue, and was then seen running north on Pelissier Street, apparently in pursuit of his target.

The target, another man, apparently outgrew the suspect, who was last seen heading down an alley off Elliott Street West.

Officers obtained a description of the suspect and searched the area. In 15 minutes, around 10:55 a.m., a man matching the description was in the 700 block of Pelissier Street.

The suspect was arrested without problems. The firearm, found on his person, turned out to be a pellet pistol.
