Lindsey Bareich and her father David have raised about $ 40,000 in the last four years with the fun, friendly and creative team-building exercise known as Carve 4 Cancer. Pumpkins are provided by a local farmer and local businesses donate them to the Windsor Cancer Center Foundation for their employees to participate. The money goes to the foundation’s Seeds4Hope program that funds local cancer research.

The public participates by visiting the Foundation Facebook page and voting for your favorite carved pumpkin.

This year’s Best Pumpkin winner was Vista Solutions. Rosati Group came in second place followed by MTE Controls.

The carved pumpkins will be on display at the Windsor Regional Cancer Center before Halloween.
