Rocio Carrasco is guilty of “a crime of family abandonment”, according to the indictment of the Madrid Provincial Prosecutor’s Office sent to court number 3 of Alcobendas and to which CASO ABIERTO, the investigation and events channel of Prensa Ibérica, has had access.
The prosecutor in charge of the case maintains that Rocío Carrasco has not paid the monthly pension to her son David Flores since a sentence of the Court of Violence number 1 of Alcobendas forces her to do so, four years ago. He considers that these facts are “legally constitutive of a crime of family abandonment provided for and punished in articles 227.1 and 227.3 of the Penal Code.” This crime can be punished with a maximum of one year in prison and a 24-month fine.
Fine of 19,000 euros
In his indictment, the prosecutor stresses that Rocío Carrasco is “the author” of that crime and asks that she be sentenced to “18 months of fine with a daily fee of 20 euros”; that is, to a fine of 10,800 euros. In addition, the prosecutor asks that Rocío Jurado’s daughter be sentenced to pay 8,200 euros more for the pension installments that you have not paid to your child between February 2018 and July 2021, plus interest. Since then, Carrasco has not paid his son’s pension, as confirmed by sources in the case.
As CASE OPEN revealed, the woman was sued for non-payment of pensions first by her ex-husband, Antonio David Flores, and then by his son, David Flores, who propose for her a sentence of one year in prison and a fine of 15,000 euros. The Alcobendas court then began an investigation that this letter from the prosecutor has almost concluded. The writ of the woman’s defense remains to be known so that the investigation can be terminated.

Rocío Carrasco will therefore face a trial against her for this alleged crime of abandoning her family. The prosecutor requests that in that trial they declare only two people: her son David Flores and her ex-husband, Antonio David Flores, whom he has accused of mistreatment. The public ministry does not request, unlike the representation of his son, that he declare Olga Morenowho was Antonio David Flores’ partner for many years and who has a close relationship with the young man.
