The number of teachers in private universities fell 60% in 20 years

From 2000 to 2020, the total number of teachers in this sector fell 60%, according to figures from the SEP and the ONE.

At the same time, the figures reflected a sustained increase in the enrollment of higher-level students, which would imply that at least in private universities, there are fewer teachers for more students.
