The Mossos d’Esquadra evict an illegal party with about 300 people in a farmhouse in Mont-ras

The Mossos d’Esquadra have evicted an illegal party that has gathered around 300 people in a farmhouse in Mont-ras (Baix Empordà). The action has resulted in 184 people denounced for failing to comply with the measures against the spread of Covid-19 and they have also arrested a man who had a pending judicial request. The emergency services have received the notice about two thirty in the morning of the owner of the house denouncing that she had rented it to a group of ten -the maximum allowed by the restrictions- but that hundreds of people had gathered. Several teams from the Mossos traveled to the place and were able to dissolve the meeting and identify the people when they left the farmhouse.

The party contravened the new measures that the Generalitat government has approved to contain the omicron variant, including the suspension of activity in leisure venues and the curfew until January 7.
