The Mexican Association of Pharmaceutical Laboratories has a new president


The Mexican Association of Pharmaceutical LaboratoriesAC, (AMELAF), today held its general assembly, in which its new Board of Directors was elected, which will be chaired in two years by Luis Verduzco Koloffon, who replaces Arturo Morales Portas.

AMELAF represents 45 laboratories of 100% Mexican capital, installed in the States of: Jalisco, Mexico, Hidalgo, Querétaro, Morelos, Michoacán, Nuevo León, Veracruz, Baja California and Mexico City.

It should be noted that in his 82 Industrial plantsmore than 55,000 people work directly and over 250,000 indirect workers, to produce medicines.

During the work of this assembly, Morales Portas gave his work report, which was recognized by the 45 owners and representatives of laboratories, who attended this assembly.

The new president of the Board of Directors of AMELAF, Luis Verduzco, highlighted the importance of the unity with which the members of AMELAF have been working, a unity that must continue to be a symbol to continue strengthening the national pharmaceutical industryso that it continues to be a bastion of representation and defense of this industry, so that it continues to produce quality medicines at affordable prices for the Mexican population, and in this way protect the health of those most in need.
