The L-10 of the Barcelona metro will have three new stations in service in the Zona Franca on the 7th

Three new stations of the L10 of the Barcelona Metro -the of Commercial Port / La Factoria; Ecoparc and Zal / Red River, which run through the surface, will come into operation on the 7th in the La Marina neighborhood and will serve the industrial Free Zone.

The Generalitat has reported this Sunday that it is expected that the new stations, which have involved an investment of 120 million euros, register an influx of one million passengers annually.

These stations rise in viaduct for 3 kilometers along Calle A of the Zona Franca, so that the metro runs on the surface between these stations, while the rest of the L9 / L10 system are underground.

The commissioning of these stations is in addition to the works that the Government plans to carry out to complete the L9 / L10, with an investment of about 950 million euros.

At the moment, the L9 / L10 system has 32 stations in service along 37.5 kilometers
