Francophone identity from early childhood

According to Chantal Laurencelle, educators in the Franco-Manitoban community actively participate in developing the Francophone identity of children from an early age.

Cédelynne Lachance is also passionate about the French fact in the community.

In the field since 2015, she was director in 2020 of the center Les P’tits Loups in the French-speaking community of the village of Saint-Georges in Manitoba.

We did a lot of francization there because the majority of our children didn’t speak French, so I was able to see the learning and development of French in an English-speaking environment.she says.
