“The Department of Immigration is a disaster”, according to the NDP


“Unacceptable”, “disrespectful”, “ridiculous”… the deputy leader of the New Democratic Party (NDP), Alexandre Boulerice, does not mince words about the Department of Immigration of Canada, which comes to curb the Francophone immigration to Quebec, according to him.

“The Department of Immigration has been a disaster for two years. You can feel it in the constituency office. The prioritization of Francophones put forward by the Government of Quebec is not respected by Ottawa”, denounced in an interview with the Newspaper Alexandre Boulerice, deputy leader of the New Democratic Party (NDP).

“It is unacceptable as a treatment. It is disrespectful towards these people from a human point of view and ridiculous from an economic point of view in shortage of manpower, ”he added.
