In these times, with the number of windows in which a series can be released, the cancellation of a fiction on a chain or a platform does not necessarily mean the definitive end of the fiction. In Spain we have a recent example, such as ‘La casa de papel’, which had a successful new life on Netflix after its second season on Antena 3 ended.
Something similar hopes to achieve the team of ‘Raised by wolves’, the science fiction series produced by Ridley Scott. After two seasons, according to ‘Deadline’, HBO Max is not considering new episodes of the fiction created by Aaron Guzikowski. But fans are already mobilizing on social media to save the production.

The actor abubakar salim, one of the protagonists of ‘Raised by wolves’, sounded the alarm on Twitter. “I call for action. Not surprising, especially after the news of the mergers and what is happening in Warner, that many series do not finish their stories. Unfortunately, one of the series is Raised by Wolves,” she announced.
Although the interpreter acknowledged that “nothing has been announced publicly yet” regarding the cancellation, there was a reason behind it. “An important one. One that I am here to share with you now. There is hope. We are in a unique position: we have a fully developed and planned story, a great production team behind us, an incredible reception from critics, and most importantly, a fan base that is so strong internationally that it cannot be ignored,” he revealed.

And he continued asking for help from the fans: “The reason why the cancellation has not been announced is because there is still the possibility that the story continues and ends in a new home. This is where all of you come in. Right now, Scott Free and the creatives are pushing for the series to continue elsewhere, sharing the series’ reception and momentum with other storytellers. There is no denying that we are at a time when the power of a community’s voice can bring about change. So i’m asking for action. I see the pure love, passion and questions (too many) that come up daily on Twitter about Raised by Wolves. Now I ask you to continue, and with even more vigor, showing that genuine love everywhere as we look for that new home,” he asked fans of the fiction.
The series, starring some androids dedicated to raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet, received lukewarm reviews in its first season, but was more convincing with its second installment.
