The AIFA will rent computers again in the remainder of 2022


The Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA) It has a tender underway to lease between 208 and 520 desktop computers and the same number of non-break computers that it will use from April 29 to the end of this year.

The decision of the process by invitation (the chosen companies have not yet been announced) is scheduled for next April 27.

“The leasing of personal computer equipment and peripherals, object of this invitation, will be awarded in its entirety to the bidder whose offer is solvent, for complying with the legal, technical and economic requirements established in the invitation, guaranteeing compliance with the obligations and offer the lowest price”, reported the AIFA management.

Some of the features of the computers are: i5 processor or equivalent, 2GHz base frequency with 6 cores, 480 GB hard drive and 21-inch LED screen.

Last year, the company of the same name (AIFA) awarded Interconecta a contract for the offer of similar services valid from September to December 2021.

In the public documentation of that process, it can be seen that the leasing of computers with similar characteristics was 2,691 pesos per month, which was the lowest cost presented by the interested firms and was also less than the bidder’s reference value, which was 2,706 pesos.

According to the call, the chosen firm must provide unlimited technical support for the equipment to the airport, complying with the service levels required for the correct operation of the leased personal computer equipment and peripherals.

“The supplier must make a help desk available to the AIFA to request the required technical assistance on the care of failures and guidance on the use of the equipment. AIFA may request support and technical assistance for care, diagnosis, troubleshooting and guidance on the use of leased equipment on business days from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Regarding the resources to pay for the service, it was specified that the management has sufficient resources to cover the payment commitments that are generated.
