The AICM will advance its clocks one hour next Sunday for the start of daylight saving time


The Mexico City International Airport (AICM) reported that next Sunday all the clocks on the screens that show information on the flights that take place there will advance one hour, in line with the start of summer time.

In addition, the local paging system and social networks will be used so that passengers are aware of the modifications.

“Passengers are invited to take into account this adjustment in the schedule and arrive at the airport in advance (two hours for domestic flights and three for international flights) to avoid mishaps on their flight,” the terminal said in a statement.

According to the country’s main airport, as every year, on the first Sunday of April at 02:00 a.m., staff from the AICM will adjust the time on its 364 screens (258 in terminal 1 and 106 in terminal 2) and 35 video walls that publish flight information, which are located in the corridors of arrivals and departures of passengers (ambulatory), both in the national and international area , last waiting rooms and public spaces.

Previously, the administration airport He reminded the airlines, service providers, tenants and sub-tenants that operate in the two passenger terminals about this measure, so that they take their forecasts in this regard.
