TFJA surpasses attention it had before the Covid-19 pandemic

The lawsuits processed before the Federal Court of Administrative Justice (TFJA) between November 2020 and October 2021 had an estimated value of 815,560 million pesos, which is equivalent to 3.13% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Mexico corresponding to the third quarter 2021, said the President of that body, Magistrate Rafael Anzures Uribe.

When giving his second report of activities before the General Plenary of the TFJA and the presidents of the Regional Chambers, he said that during the most recent year, that institution exceeded the activity that it had registered before the pandemic of the Covid-19, by admitting 168,398 lawsuits and issuing 174,922 final and low sentences, of which only 7,520 were revoked by challenges presented before courts of the Judicial Power.

Anzures Uribe reported that this year the Online Trial version 2.0 was able to work in 55 regional rooms throughout the country, so that there are already almost 10,000 registered users who have filed 5,000 lawsuits worth 29.928 million pesos.

In that sense, he thanked the magistrates of the TFJA, as well as its collaborators, for the dedication and commitment made to exceed the goals in various objectives of the annual work program.

On the other hand, he said that the Senate of the Republic ratified 19 magistrates of regional chambers, three magistrates and magistrates of the Superior Chamber and in the Plenary of the TFJA the statute of the Commission for Gender Equality was approved.
