TEPJF returns 1% of its budget to Tesofe

The Electoral Court of the Federal Judicial Branch (TEPJF) reported that he reinstated the TESORERY of the Federation (Tesofe) 30 million 797,000 pesos, which is equivalent to 1% of the budget assigned for fiscal year 2021.

He said that as a result of the application of budget discipline, efficiency and austerity measures in the public spending, made the return on December 9.

He explained that the total amount is integrated both by reductions in costs of congresses and events, consumption of electric power, among other measures that, together, add up to 23 million 577,070 pesos, and for projects that were canceled for various reasons and for which 7 million 120,430 pesos were reimbursed.

“It should be noted that this cancellation did not affect the achievement of the institutional objectives of the TEPJF,” he said.

He specified that the amount is added to the 15 million 372,000 pesos that were reimbursed to the Tesofe on October 26, obtained by the investment performance, the claim recoverys and the penalty to suppliers, among other concepts.

So far this year, the TEPJF has reimbursed 46 million 169,0000 pesos “which shows that the exercise of public spending in the Electoral Court is exercised with responsibility and with the commitment to implement an efficient management of public resources” said the TEPJF.
