The Minister of Labor, Jean Boulet, says he hears the pleas of teleworkers in a hurry to return to the office and affirms that it is necessary to “take a step” towards the return of the hybrid mode, but recalls that his hands are tied by public health .

On the sidelines of a press conference on Monday, he said he “anticipates” developments on this front. The minister, however, refuses to advance a specific date for the end of the instruction requiring remote work where possible.
“I am extremely sensitive to the possibility that teleworkers could return in a hybrid way, but I must bow to the recommendations of public health and wish that there are new instructions in the timeframe that public health deems appropriate” , he explained.
Jean Boulet also said he was in favor of more “predictability” with a view to the reopening of certain economic sectors “as far as possible”.
