Teen shot with air pistol on Rotary Trail in Peterborough: Police – Peterborough | The Canadian News

Police are searching for two suspects after a reported shooting along the Rotary Trail on Friday afternoon.

According to the Peterborough Police Service, around noon, two other teenagers approached a group of teenagers along the road between Water Street North and Armor Road.

Police say an altercation ensued and a teenager was shot and hit with a compressed air pistol.

The teenager was taken to the Peterborough Regional Health Center, treated and released, police said Monday.

No arrests have been made, police said Monday afternoon.
