A man has succumbed to his injuries after being shot while driving a taxi on Sunday night.

Police received calls around 8:49 p.m. from a taxi driver who crashed into a fence in the area of ​​Pharmacy and Eglinton avenues.

When officers arrived at the scene, the taxi driver was found with gunshot wounds and was not responding.

He was taken to the hospital in a life-threatening condition. He was later pronounced dead.
