A man has succumbed to his injuries after being shot while driving a taxi on Sunday night.
Police received calls around 8:49 p.m. from a taxi driver who crashed into a fence in the area of Pharmacy and Eglinton avenues.
When officers arrived at the scene, the taxi driver was found with gunshot wounds and was not responding.
He was taken to the hospital in a life-threatening condition. He was later pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing and the police are asking witnesses to come forward.
