Stock market: Wall Street opens up, rebounds after a gloomy week

MARKET REVIEW. The New York Stock Exchange opened higher on Monday, rebounding after a gloomy week, but the market remains alert to the economic recovery and inflation.

The Toronto Stock Exchange Composite Index also opened the week higher thanks to the energy sector.

the S & P / TSX of Toronto was up 61.31 points, or 0.3%, to 20,694.37 points.

In New York, the S&P 500 gained 15.03 points, or 0.34%, to 4,473.61 points.
