MARKET REVIEW. The New York Stock Exchange opened higher on Monday, rebounding after a gloomy week, but the market remains alert to the economic recovery and inflation.
The Toronto Stock Exchange Composite Index also opened the week higher thanks to the energy sector.

the S & P / TSX of Toronto was up 61.31 points, or 0.3%, to 20,694.37 points.
In New York, the S&P 500 gained 15.03 points, or 0.34%, to 4,473.61 points.
the Nasdaq decreased by 11.36 points or 0.08% to 15,104.13 points.
the Dow jones rose 296.09 points, or 0.86%, to 34,903.81 points.
the loonie collected 0.33% at 0.7903 US dollar (US $).
the oil increased US $ 1.14, or 1.64%, to US $ 70.86.
THE’gold hovered at equilibrium at US $ 1,792.70 (+ US $ 0.60, + 0.03%).
