Several iPhone 13 users report experiencing intermittent touch issues with the new smartphone, causing screen swipes and taps to be delayed or not fully recognized.
Posts on Twitter, Reddit, MacRumors’ forums and Apple’s official support forum includes several posts from users experiencing touchscreen-related issues with the iPhone 13. The issue appears to affect all devices in the iPhone 13 line, including the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro max.
For what it’s worth, I’ve been constantly using the iPhone 13 Pro Max for the past few weeks and haven’t encountered this particular problem, at least not yet.
Is someone’s iPhone 13 not constantly logging touch events? Is it an apps thing, an iOS 15 thing, or my iPhone 13 thing?

Errors seen on iPhone 13 Pro Max / iOS 15 so far:
• Camera not functional (the application opens, the camera transmission does not)
• iPhone does not wake up when touched
• iPhone unlocks but swipe up to open fails (screen is unresponsive)
• Mail application freezes
• Clock not recognizedOther than that it’s great!

Same issue here intermittently, even closing apps and reopening doesn’t work sometimes so you have to turn the phone off to get it to re-register touch input. Consider and fix the problem

Fortunately, since the issue appears to be affecting older iPhone models as well, it is likely not related to a hardware issue and could be related to iOS 15 instead.
Although iOS 15 is relatively stable, the update has introduced some issues, including a bug related to ‘Unlock with Apple Watch’ not working with iPhone 13, widget issues, and security vulnerabilities.
Given Apple’s track record of fixing bugs quickly, this touchscreen issue is likely to be fixed relatively quickly.
