Snow Warning Issued for West Central Saskatchewan | The Canadian News

A snowfall advisory has been issued for parts of west-central Saskatchewan.

Environment Canada says a disturbance is bringing heavy snow to the Battlefords region on Monday.

Accumulations of 10 to 15 centimeters of snow are expected before heavy snowfall subsides on Tuesday.

Snow is expected in the rest of the province through Tuesday, but accumulation levels are not at the warning level.

Authorities said special care should be taken when heading out onto the roads, as rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult.

They also said that visibility could be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
