He commented that jobs have been recovered in the areas of cleaning, maintenance and security guards, but not in those corresponding to sales, for the same reason that they are still low.
De La Luz Espinoza pointed out that the return of tourism will help alleviate the economic situation, considering that foreign visits represent 30% of the 2 million visitors a month.
He stated that in malls They are aware of the current situation, but they hope that the premises will be occupied soon, because they have a good location.
He estimated that for each reopened business, two jobs could be generated, with which the goal will be reached, but it is subject to the interest of businesses to return to those spaces, whose rents range between 10,000 and 15,000 pesos per month.
“The decision to rent a place is also subject to the influx of visitors being high or frequent, which implies higher sales, because it is the only way to sustain a business in this pandemic”, he deepened.
