Sharpen, by Albert Espinosa

Article 758. I have always liked the columns that end in 58, actually any type of number that ends like that attracts me. Years ago I dreamed that “the fat one” of Christmas fell on 56658 and the truth is that I did not fail so much because it took a third prize.

I think that in the end senseless passions have a lot to do with oneself. I have a friend who loves the most in the world the pencils. It’s the only thing he collects from all the hotels he visits because he tells me that he is excited to see how they are consumed when he sharpens them in the same way that the trip and the hotel move away from his mind. The funny thing is that he does know where his passion comes from, it turns out & mldr; I almost tell you after the best of the week.

Third place. ‘Albert Camus to Menorca’, directed by Luis Ortas Pau. Interesting documentary about the paths that brought the writer close to the island where his grandmother was born. As Camus said: “There is no love for life without desperation for life & rdquor ;.

Second place. ‘Scatola’. Beautiful song by Laura Pausini that transports you to your inner child. Both the Italian and Spanish versions hook you and take you back to that time when dreams quickly turned around.

First position. ‘Poems of Sant Salvador de les Espases’ by Miquel Guillamon manages to create a beautiful book where poems and photographs go hand in hand. At 94 years old, his writings exude truth and he achieves through a fine irony to portray his region with passion.

And my friend told me where his passion for pencils comes from. And it turns out that when he was in school, what he loved the most and the place where he felt safest was sticking the tip out next to the trash can. He told me that he always went there and met with friends and to the rhythm of a pencil sharpener he felt that secrets were revealed and others were created.

It has always seemed to me a beautiful beginning of a passion, one day I will find out where my passion for 58 was born. Ah, this year I think the Christmas jackpot will fall in 58058, I’ll leave it there. Happy Sunday!
