Most people have heard of Prairie Harm Reduction, but not everyone is familiar with the work they do.
Located in Saskatoon, it is the only safe consumer site in Saskatchewan.
The facility is a one-of-a-kind resource, working with people living with addictions and complex mental health needs.

Jason Mercredi leads the charge with the services clients need to reintegrate into society.
He says one of the biggest challenges Prairie Harm Reduction faces is public misconceptions about what they actually do.
“A lot of what we do is help people on their journey of a lifetime, which is not just a three-month journey, it is a journey of a lifetime,” Mercredi said.
“When we work with people, we have that lifelong commitment to helping people improve.”
