Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Coming to Disney + on November 12

Disney has confirmed that Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings will begin airing exclusively on Disney + on November 12.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek made the announcement during the 30th Annual Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference. Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings It opened in theaters on September 3 with a 45-day theatrical exclusivity period, but it was previously unclear exactly when it would land on Disney +.

November 12 is a big day for Disney as it is the second anniversary of Disney +. To celebrate the date, the company is holding a major ‘Disney + Day’ event to reveal more of what’s coming to Disney + from all of its different brands.

“We will surprise people with offers and it will be an annual thing,” Chapek said at the Goldman Sachs event. “We are launching new content against one of our four key franchises.”

In a press release, Disney promised the event will feature a “special celebrating the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney + with an exciting look into the future,” a special focusing on the Star Wars character Boba Fett and the premiere of the first five episodes of the season. 2 of The world according to Jeff Goldblum.
